So, not only will my MBP not wake from sleep now, but my girlfriend's iSight and infared sensor for the remote stopped being recognized. What a load of garbage.

I personally wouldn't pierce anything. No desire at all.

My point was you have to stand so far back from the sensor that it can be difficult to read a 32" HDTV as your pushing into 40"+ recommended minimum screen size.
I'm using a Kinect with a 30 inch Standard Def Tube TV and it's fine. So far the Kinect games are all party games and barely require any reading. All the 2 to 6 foot height does is eliminates you from sticking the sensor on the floor or the ceiling. And the ambient light / sound sensors can be calibrated to your room.
The 6-8 foot distance is the one big drawback but it's not a radius. You just need about 6 feet in front of the TV, which makes it ideal for living rooms only. But chances are, if you have a coffee table in front of your couch, all you need to do is move it and you'll have enough space to use the thing

I don't really get the point of this. Most people (obviously not all) have music collections smaller than 16GB and 32GB. What purpose does it serve to keep this music in a cloud rather than on the device? To top it off, you can only access when you have data service.

I like Justin, im glad to to know he's still doing the ads. Replacing Long or Hodgeman would be weird though, i guess they'll milk this as long as they can and then start a new campaign :p

And for the record, this country was founded by white, anglo-saxon men who were all of some Christian faith. It wasn't founded by pagans, or Muslims, or Taoists or Shintoists or Buddhists or Atheists or anyone else. Somebody told me the old shuffle automatically converted songs into 128kbs AAC while you are adding it to the shuffle, even if they were of a much higher bitrate or saved in another format. I wonder if the new one does the same thing. It would be nice to keep my songs ALAC on my harddisk without wasting too much memory when I add it to the shuffle, where sound quality does not matter much.
The feature is part of iTunes, so I'm sure it's still there.

I�d like to back CoffeeDrinker here. Referencing software a specialized software packages. Most of them will meet a long list of requirement, including (1) access and download of citation data and original documents to a dozen or sometimes more than a hundred paid or free databases, (2) managing large sets of references, often including the PDF of the original, in a meaningful way, and (3) create citations and lists of references in new texts, according to one of dozen (sometimes >100) formats prescribed by journals. This is all complicated because scientific disciplines are very different in terms of ways to cite (often for good reasons): medical researchers quite different form historians, and economics quote different from electrical engineers. With this complexity and with the widely diverging user needs, it would not make sense to me to have this all integrated into an office suite like Office.
While Endnote is certainly among the best known, there is a wide range of such programs, ranging in focus, functionality, and price (see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Comparison_of_reference_management_software).
I�d like to highlight Bookends, a Mac-specific program that is very reasonably priced and has served me and many other enthusiasts for already quite a while. Its developers offer great support and regularly implement needs expressed by their users. For students and other users that are on a tighter budget, Zotero offers a good open-source alternative.

Oh - I do have a problem with immigration policies too - and I'm not very happy about illegal immigrants either, so don't get me wrong on that, CalBoy. But that is not the immigrants' fault - legal or illegal. It's the politicians' fault, and the EU plays a major role in this (in their backroom-deals with Saudi officials, for instance). I think I mentioned something about the politicians as well in an earlier post, where I stated that they are far worse than the illegal immigrants - I can't really see why this is a "focus on the immigrants".
I personally think you went too far Calboy by calling me and torb racist and xenophobia, after one post. You have no idea how we live life. I'm certainly not scared of other culture's, the fact I work with 85% foreign people. I'm a manager at a large 4 star hotel. Me disliking illegal immigrants (when they come legal because of "human rights") in my country is nothing to do with being racist, even if you saw it like that. We're struggling as it is here in England, yet we spend millions housing illegal immigrants, and paying for their every needs. I know I did say I wouldn't reply, but I really don't feel comfortable being accused of being a racist. Also torb is right, the EU pretty much control us now.
Now you could say, well they are legal now, so why have a problem? the problem, my taxes and what we get back from it. The government has pretty much messed up our country (Labour)

The next hardware upgrades as far as processing power are obvious. Economies of scale dictate they are going to use their latest processors across as many product lines as possible (the next iPhone and iPod Touch are as good as guaranteed to have an A5). I think a delay would more likely be attributed to iOS 5, particularly since it doesn't look like there will be a big iOS 5 unveiling at WWDC. I actually hope this is the case. It would indicate significant changes to iOS, and it needs it!
EDIT: As a side note, fingers crossed they bring Core Image support in this version. Graphics hardware is up to the task now.
